Tuesday evening of the 2008 Summer Conference, the Potomac attendees participated in various Montana activities arranged by the MEA-MFT. Terri and Sarah went on a float trip down the Missouri. Lots of giggling teachers accompanied Terri and Sarah. Sun-soaking and nature-watching were highlights of the trip. Brenda took a two-hour boat tour of the Gates of the Mountains. Along the way she saw Montana wildlife, including osprey, mountain goats, and big horn sheep. Nancy schmoozed with the gov at the state capitol. Her tour was led by retired Helena teacher Dallas Miller. She visited the wonderful paintings and artwork of our state house.
